Pineapple motif thumb latch TL-17.
The pineapple or pina' was the symbol of hospitality in Colonial America. Obviously very popular in pineapple producing states like Hawaii. Many of the pineapple grove owners would use these on any main doors. Sometimes owners would create there own pina' design or use there crest/logo and incorporate it into their hardware. Probably using more traditional such as the bean on the workers quarters.
